Maritigrella Crozieri is more commonly known as the tiger flatworm because of its tiger like stripes and colors. The tiger flatworm is a marine species of flatworm and not much is known about the species or the which animals are in the same class as this species. Tiger Flatworms are found mostly in tropical waters, but seem to dwell in an array of different locations. The nervous system of this species is complex because it uses mechanoreceptors along its skin to analyze its environment. It also uses photoreceptors to sense light. Because tiger flatworms do not have complex eyes, chemoreceptors are used to find food other tiger flatworms to mate with.
